Buenos Aires
<Bienvenido! Welcome to Buenos Aires, Argentina’s lively capital city. With an intoxicating mix of Latin soul and European influences, beautiful Buenos Aires is a delight to explore. If you arrive with time to spare, maybe head out to see the street murals of San Telmo or visit Casa Rosada, the office of the president of Argentina. This evening, you may like to take part in an iconic Buenos Aires experience – watching a live tango show. Some of the best spots in the city are La Ventana or Querandi. Sit back with a Malbec and enjoy a passionate performance.
For your optional airport arrival transfer please provide your flight details at least 14 days before your trip. A welcome note, containing all necessary information, will be waiting for you at the hotel's reception on Day 1 of your trip. We recommend booking tango shows in advance through the venue's official website to secure your preferred date and seating. -

<Rise and shine for a morning of exploring Buenos Aires. A local guide will collect you from your accommodation between 9am and 9:30 am this morning and take you to your first stop – the Plaza de Mayo, which is the heart of the city and the place where it was founded. Continue to the creative neighbourhood of San Telmo, where you’ll discover the origins of tango Next up is La Boca to learn about the importance of football in the city before heading to Puerto Madero, a slick neighbourhood on the banks of the Rio de la Plata, and the famous Recoleta Cemetery, where many notable people are buried. Enjoy some free time in the afternoon at your accommodation and then hop in your transfer to dinner. Travel to the home of a Porteno (a resident of Buenos Aires) for a delicious barbecue dinner on their rooftop. Take in incredible views of the city and watch the sun go down while you chat to your friendly hosts and gain insight into everyday life in Buenos Aires. Tuck into classic dishes like provoleta (cheese), chimichurri (condiment for grilled meat) and plenty of Argentinian wine.
Recoleta Cemetery is visited from the outside only. This is the last stop of the tour, and here you have 2 options: continue with a visit inside the cemetery, on your own, or return by vehicle back to your hotel. If you choose to visit inside, you'll have to find your own way back to the hotel after the visit. Your local guide can help you with getting the tickets as well as a few tips on how to return to your hotel. -

<Your Short Break Adventure comes to an end after breakfast this morning. If you’re staying on in the city, there are plenty of galleries, museums and historic buildings to keep you entertained. The Museo Evita is dedicated to the life (and gowns) of former First Lady Eva Peron. MALBA is an incredible art gallery showcasing a private collection, including works by Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera, and great temporary exhibits.
For your optional departure transfer, the pick-up times are: 4 hours before departure time for Ezeiza International Airport (EZE) and 3 hours before departure time for Jorge Newbery Airfield (AEP). These generous transfer times account for potential transit delays due to last-minute strikes or road blockades, ensuring you’ll reach your flight on time.
