Data protection

Cookies

When users access the website, one or more cookies are stored on their computer. A cookie is a small file that contains a specific string of characters and uniquely identifies your browser. The provider uses cookies to improve the convenience and quality of its services, for example by saving user settings. Cookies do not cause any damage to the user's computer and do not contain viruses.

It is also possible to use the website without cookies. Users can deactivate the storage of cookies in their browser, restrict them to certain websites or set their browser to notify them before a cookie is stored. You can delete cookies from your computer's hard drive at any time using your browser's data protection functions. In this case, the functions and user-friendliness of the website may be restricted.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on the user's computer and enable the use of the website to be analysed. The information generated by the cookie about the use of this website by users is generally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.

However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, the IP address of Google users within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area will be shortened beforehand. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. IP anonymisation is active on this website. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to analyse the use of the website by users, to compile reports on website activity and to provide other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. Users may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on their browser, however please note that if you do this you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. Users can also prevent Google from collecting the data generated by the cookie and relating to their use of the website (including your IP address) and from processing this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

However, this data is stored and processed by Facebook, and we will inform you of this to the best of our knowledge. Facebook can link this data to your Facebook account and also use it for its own advertising purposes in accordance with Facebook's data usage policy https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/. You can enable Facebook and its partners to place adverts on and off Facebook. A cookie may also be stored on your computer for these purposes.

Alternatively, the settings can be adjusted and deactivated at https://www.facebook.com/settings/?tab=ads. To do this, you must be logged in to Facebook.

Web push notifications from PushPanda.io

We use web push notifications from PushPanda.io. Web push notifications are messages that can be displayed on your end device without opening the website or the respective app.

No unique user data such as IP address or similar is stored, which could lead to direct conclusions about the respective user. When registering (opt-in procedure) in the notification distribution list, only an identification key and the geographical IP information (country and federal state) of the user are transmitted and stored in the PushPanda.io database. This key is assigned by the respective browser manufacturer (Google, Mozilla, etc.) and enables the notifications to be sent to the respective browser at a later date. The notifications are sent directly via the browser manufacturer.

If the opt-in for push notifications is withdrawn (opt-out), all data stored at PushPanda.io is deleted and the identification key becomes invalid.

You can unsubscribe from the push service here: https://www.pushpanda.io/loesungen/chrome-web-push-benachrichtigungen

PushPanda.io is a service provided by Project K GmbH based in Innsbruck, Austria.
