Day 1

PUNTA ARENAS – ESTANCIA RIO DE LOS CIERVOS

1 night in:: Estancia Rio de Los Ciervos , Punta Arenas

Nach der Übernahme des Mietwagens am Flughafen von Punta Arenas führt die Fahrt aus der Stadt heraus zur Estancia Rio de los Ciervos.

Day 2

ESTANCIA RIO DE LOS CIERVOS – TORRES DEL PAINE

1 night in:: Estancia Lazo o.ä., Torres del Paine
Meals:: Breakfast

Nach dem Frühstück geht es durch die Pampa nach Norden zum weltberühmten Nationalpark Torres del Paine. Auf dem Weg kann man Ñandus, Kondore und Guanacos beobachten. Schon von weitem sind die markanten namensgebenden Türme, die Torres del Paine, sichtbar. Die heutige Übernachtung findet in einer Unterkunft auf einer Schaffarm am Rande des Nationalparks statt.

Day 3

TORRES DEL PAINE

1 night in:: Estancia Lazo o.ä., Torres del Paine

Der heutige Tag bietet sich zur Erkundung dieses legendären Nationalparks an. Es ist auch möglich, einen frequentierter Wanderweg von der Estancia Lazo in den Park zu nutzen.

Day 4

TORRES DEL PAINE – ESTANCIA RIO PENITENTE

Drive distance:: ca. 275 km
Drive time:: ca. 4 h
1 night in:: Posada Rio Penitente o.ä.
Meals:: Breakfast

Über Puerto Natales geht es wieder durch die Pampa bis zur traditionellen patagonischen Estancia Rio Penitente. Hier kann man über die Schafzucht in Patagonien und die historische Entwicklung dieser südlichsten Region von Südamerika lernen. Die Übernachtung findet in der Posada der Estancia statt.
